It’s Not Just 700 (INJ700) is a volunteer run, non-funded organization that provides camaraderie, informal support, and advocates for those impacted by Military Sexual Misconduct and Military Sexual Trauma in the Canadian Armed Forces. Our advocacy is based on the premise of relationship building and collaboration to ensure the Peer Support Program agreed to by the Department of National Defence is developed and implemented as expediently as possible, and to promote restoration and empowerment for survivors of Military Sexual Misconduct and Military Sexual Trauma. Our Private Facebook Group has no barriers towards any gender or orientation. Currently 17% of the members in the Group identify as the male gender.
>ENGAGEMENT: Advocacy and Accountability – An important facet of our work is engaging with external organizations and stakeholder groups to ensure that when developing and implementing new policies or procedures that they take into account the unique needs of the survivors of MST in the Canadian Armed Forces.
>COMMUNITY HUB: Informal Peer Support & Social Network – This done on the social media platform of Facebook in a Private Group. Members on their own healing journeys provide invaluable help to newcomers who are beginning to navigate the many complexities of the MST healing journey. Any advice or information provided is to be considered carefully and verified as to whether it will be relevant to each individual.

Whether it be to find information on services available, research, or other initiatives, volunteers endeavour to keep up to date to provide the most current information by posting it here or on our social media platforms of Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
