The Community Fund is our biggest campaign focus each year, and is how we give back to and invest in the communities across our province. The Community Fund invests into different programs and groups that help to support one of our three pillars of community involvement: All that Kids Can Be, Moving from Poverty to Possibility, and Healthy People, Strong Communities.

The Community Fund collects these donations and then accepts applications from registered charitable organizations (or other qualified donees), as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency, which operate in Newfoundland and Labrador. Visit the CRA website here for further information. Applications for the fund open each year in February, and close a month later in March.

Each application meeting the requirements is then passed through a screening process and successful applicants are approved by a Community Investment Committee. This Committee is made up of independent volunteers who have a wide range of experience, knowledge, and backgrounds in the charitable sector.
